Aircraft Carrying Pete Hegseth Forced to Touch Down in UK Due to Fracture in Windshield

An aircraft ferrying the US defense secretary was forced to make an unscheduled landing in the United Kingdom on Wednesday following a fracture was found in the jet's front window, per an official announcement which stated that the secretary was unharmed.

"The aircraft landed based on established safety measures and all individuals on the flight, including Pete Hegseth, is unharmed," a spokesperson commented in a online announcement.

He was traveling back from a quick journey to the Belgian capital when the incident occurred.

This incident does not mark the first occasion that a American defense plane ferrying a top government figure has experienced technical problems.

Earlier this year, a US Air Force plane transporting the US Secretary of State to Munich was required to head back to the US capital after experiencing a mechanical problem.
